The LRP Knee Lock is a product we really put our knees behind. Give it a go, if you dont like it, send it back and we can either exchange it for a different size, credit towards a custom moulded knee lock, or provide a full refund. 

Most tank extenders are straight continuations of the tank and still rely on friction from tank grips to secure your leg. The Knee Lock works differently,  it's a raised countour that sits above your leg, giving your knee something to physically hook against rather than just grip.

When you hang off through a corner, your knee locks against the edge instead of sliding until friction catches it. Less effort goes into holding your body position, which means more control and less fatigue over a race distance.

Standard tank extenders are large. Fibreglass ones need to be painted. The Knee Lock skips all that — it's small, stays out of the way, and is contoured specifically to sit over the knee and support exactly where it's needed, nowhere else.

Construction

3D printed in TPU. Flexible and hard wearing, but rigid enough to provide support. Resistant to fuel, just in case you have a spill when refuelling.

Fitment

2017–current Yamaha R6.

Two sizes available for this model, Narrow and Regular. Both provide support to the top of the knee, the regular extends a little further around the tank. See photos for comparison. 

Installation

Mounts with 3M adhesive. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly before applying.
